Born in Kolkata,West Bengal and widely traveled, Mr. Das has spent most of his life in
Kolkata,India where he feels a deep connection to his roots, the land, creative people and centuries-old architecture. His work is intended to pass on a feeling of joy to the viewer and to
convey feelings of peace and harmony, employing symbolism in an important role.
Mr Das’s work has been exhibited and collected widely in the India , U.S. and in Europe. He was featured in The times of India , The statesman , Anandabazaar Patrika
for various projects and was nominated for many reward programme.
His home and studio are in South Kolkata, WB , India.
